Ivan Lambrov is a Bulgarian artist and sculptor working in the fields of painting and glass art. Born in Yambol, he graduated in 1991 from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia with a degree in Mural Painting, which laid the foundation for his strong sense of monumentality and spatial composition.
In the early stage of his career, Lambrov established himself as a painter, presenting numerous solo exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad.
Alongside his artistic focus has shifted towards glass art, where he has developed a distinctive sculptural language. Working with techniques such as fused, slumped, and kiln-cast glass, he combines form, light, and color into expressive, contemporary compositions. His solo exhibitions of glass art have been presented in galleries in Bulgaria and abroad.
Ivan Lambrov In parallel with his gallery practice, Ivan Lambrov has created numerous monumental works for public and private spaces, including stained glass, mosaics, and glass installations. His works are integrated into the architecture of significant sites, where art glass becomes a central artistic medium.
He has participated in major international art events such as Art Expo New York, Cambridge Glass Fair, and the exhibitions of the Glass Art Society Conference in Berlin and New York, establishing his presence on the global art scene.
