South of Ahtopol

“South of Ahtospol” evokes a seascape in which colored fragments move like waves breaking against rocks. The composition unfolds horizontally through layered color fields, creating rhythm, movement, and subtle tension.

Blues, reds, and golden tones form a restless yet balanced harmony, recalling the motion of water and light. Vertical and diagonal elements disrupt the flow, introducing depth and a sense of layered space.

Transparent areas contrast with denser forms, revealing the distinctive interplay of light and material in fused glass. The work exists both as landscape and memory—an abstract image of the sea preserved in glass.
