Flight over the Ionian Sea

This fused glass artwork is inspired by the light and spatial openness of the Ionian Sea. The work interprets a sense of movement and lightness, merging the horizon of the sea with the dynamics of flight.

Fragmented color elements form a rhythmic composition in which shapes unfold and flow into one another. Cool blues and turquoise tones create depth, while warm accents introduce energy and direction.

Through the fusing process, glass becomes a medium of light and movement. Rather than depicting a specific landscape, the work conveys a state — a sense of flight, freedom, and continuous transition between air and water.
